11.8x11.8 in ~ Sculpture, Acrylic, Terra cotta
This hollow sphere was made entirely by hand here in France. Its material is hand-shaped and baked at a temperature of 1200 °. The whole surface is painted with high quality acrylic. When I painted this sphere, I once again had a subject in mind about Morocco, and more particularly the swarms of children that we see in the streets of Rabat. Kids everywhere, playing and activating at the slightest opportunity! They hurtle down the sloping alleys, uttering cries of joy. Without being in deep poverty, they are used to fending for themselves. They are the kings of the streets that crisscross the great capital Rabat. Desag
