31.5x31.5 in ~ Painting, Acrylic
This canvas is an acrylic made with a brush. This work refers to the city of Casablanca the "white" and "big" of Morocco. Regularly, a Moroccan friend came to meet me out of friendship and above all, I think, to talk to me about his dear country. For Casablanca, he told me about the neighborhoods and of this economic capital. The opposition of ultra-modern districts and old historic districts. My friend Mehdi, described to me the atmospheres of the Souks, the colors, the smells. Mehdi told me about the noise of this constantly bustling city. My friend made me promise that if I went to Casablanca one day, I would go and see the Hasan II Great Mosque, facing the sea like a large ship. Inspired I therefore created this canvas "La grande Casablanca" which is part of a "Moroccan" series.
